For the Community
Community Outreach & Education
In 2017, Dynamics launched our Campus Lecture Series aimed at educating undergraduate students about the competitive buy-side recruiting process from a non-biased viewpoint. The Dynamics team has since visited over twenty college campuses and student investment clubs, tailoring information sessions to prepare and inform students entering the finance field about the rigorous recruitment process that begins soon after they graduate. This past year, our team enlisted the help of our network of experienced investment professionals, to join in these presentations and offer up firsthand advice in these intimate Q&A settings.

The organization supports students “To and Through College,” starting in elementary schools to cultivate a love for learning in every child. The program then aims to ensure students develop the academic skills they need to succeed, and ultimately graduate high school ready to thrive in college (and beyond!). Ninety-nine percent of Uncommon high school graduates have earned admission to a 4-year college since 1997
Dynamics first began working with New York-based Uncommon Schools back in 2013 with the goal of creating an ongoing and meaningful platform for DSP to assist students in learning tactical and practical skills that will help them achieve success. Through hands-on workshops, fundraising events, and a dedicated scholarship fund, DSP has been able to support Uncommon both practically and financially.
We are partnering with Operation HOPE, a nonprofit for-purpose organization working to disrupt poverty and empower inclusion for low and moderate-income youth adults.
Dynamics is working with Operations HOPE’s One Million Black Business and Entrepreneur Initiative (1MBB), to provide guidance, encouragement, and inspiration to aspiring black entrepreneurs by helping them think through their business ideas and take the necessary steps to create robust business plans to ensure their business has the best shot at long-term success.
